Mercy Chinwo Nnenda has just been announced winner of the 2012 Nigerian Idol . After 5 months in the contest, Mercy beat Joe Blue (Joe Anthony Ekpo) to win 100,000 USD, an SUV and a recording contract.
The finale of the second edition of Nigerian idol saw both Mercy and Joe Blue performing 3 songs each after which Mercy came out on top.
